Roles & Responsibilities:
Assist surgeons during procedures such as CABG, valve replacement, thoracic surgeries, vascular surgeries, and mínimally invasive cardiac procedures.
Prepare and handle sutures, grafts, prosthetic valves, and specialized surgical instruments.
Assist in positioning and preparing patients for surgery.
Function as a Scrub Nurse and/or Circulating Nurse during CVTS procedures.
Perform surgical counts of instruments, needles, and sponges according to hospital protocols.
Assist the perfusionist, anesthesiologist, and surgical team as required.
Complete all OT documentation accurately and promptly.
