Excel Pathway School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable High School Mathematics Teacher to teach Grades 9 and 11 in the CBSE curriculum. The teacher will inspire students to understand and appreciate mathematics and prepare them for CBSE board examinations.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons covering algebra, geometry, trigonometry and other topics aligned with the CBSE syllabus for grades 9 & 11.
Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments to meet learning objectives and prepare students for board exams.
Evaluate and document students’ progress through assignments, tests and projects; provide constructive feedback and support.
Maintain an organised, positive and disciplined classroom workplace that encourages inquiry and problem‑solving.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross‑curricular activities and participate in school events and staff meetings.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress and areas for improvement.
Provide remedial or enrichment sessions for students who require additional support or challenges.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
B.Ed qualification and experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level; CBSE experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and assessment standards.
Excellent communication skills in English and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
Effective classroom management and ability to motivate students.
