Fund Accounting – Associate / Senior Associate ? Mumbai | 3-8 years | US GAAP | Complex Fund Structures

Role Overview We are hiring a Fund Accounting professional with end‑to‑end ownership of fund groups, robust technical accounting skills, and experience across complex private fund structures .

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare & review NAV, investor allocations, management fees, carried interest & distribution waterfalls.
- Manage capital calls, distributions, cash reconciliations, wires, and journal entries.
- Handle US GAAP financial statements, audit support & reporting schedules.
- Work across master‑feeder, SPVs, blockers, splitters, AIVs and multi‑entity structures.
- Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors, and global internal teams.
- Use Power BI / Anaplan / Excel for analysis & reporting.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance.
- 1–3 years of fund accounting or fund administration experience.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, fund structures, fee calculations & capital events.
- Hands‑on experience with NAV oversight and full ownership of fund groups.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
