Position: Credit Officer

Department: Credit
Reporting To: Branch / Credit Manager

Job Purpose

To evaluate and process loan proposals through detailed financial and document analysis while ensuring compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory guidelines. This is a purely office-based role (No Field Work).

Key Responsibilities
Verification of customer documents (KYC, income proof, banking records).
Financial analysis including income assessment and repayment capacity calculation.




Preparation of credit appraisal notes.
Maintaining proper documentation and record management.
Coordination with Sales & Collection teams for case clarification (desk coordination only).
Ensuring compliance with company credit policies and RBI guidelines.
Maintaining turnaround time (TAT) for credit processing.

Eligibility Criteria
MBA (Finance) - Freshers can apply.
Strong analytical and financial assessment skills.
Positive knowledge of financial ratios and basic credit underwriting concepts.
Comfortable with office-based documentation and system work.
Good communication skills.

Basic understanding of NBFC credit processes
