Job Summary

A Cambridge Homeroom Teacher is responsible for managing the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development of students in a classroom following the Cambridge curriculum framework. The teacher creates a protected, engaging, and learner-centered setting while delivering high-quality instruction and supporting student wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities1. Classroom Teaching
Deliver lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum and school standards.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and learning materials.
Use interactive and differentiated teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
Integrate technology and activity-based learning into classroom instruction.
Homeroom Management
Take daily attendance and maintain student records.
Monitor student behavior, discipline, and overall wellbeing.




Build positive relationships with students and create an inclusive classroom culture.
Guide students in developing responsibility, communication, and social skills.
Student Assessment
Conduct formative and summative assessments.
Evaluate student progress and maintain academic records.
Provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
Prepare report cards and progress reports.
Parent Communication
Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and behavior.
Attend parent-teacher meetings and school events.
Address parent concerns professionally and promptly.
Curriculum & Planning
Participate in curriculum planning and academic meetings.
Support school improvement initiatives and Cambridge standards.
Co-Curricular Activities
Organize and participate in assemblies, competitions, field trips, and school events.
Encourage student participation in extracurricular activities.
