We are seeking a skilled and energetic F&B; Executive / Junior Cook with strong knife skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen workplace
Key ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation & Cooking
Perform high-speed and precise cutting, chopping, and slicing of ingredients.
Execute advanced knife skills, including julienne, dicing, and other standard cuts.
Handle food preparation processes including cutting, marination, grilling, and cooking.
Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all dishes.
Plating & Presentation
Assemble and plate dishes according to defined presentation standards.
Maintain quality and aesthetic appeal in final food output.
Recipe Management
Read, understand, and follow the Recipe Manual accurately.
Explain recipes clearly to team members and franchise partners.
Ensure strict adherence to standardized recipes and portion control.
Training & Support
Train franchise partners and kitchen staff on food preparation and recipes.
Demonstrate cooking techniques and ensure knowledge transfer.
Support onboarding of new kitchen staff or franchise teams.
Operational Efficiency
Work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced kitchen environment.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times.
Coordinate with kitchen team members for smooth operations.
Travel & Deployment
Travel to franchise locations as required for training and operational support.
Assist in setting up kitchen processes at current franchise outlets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in a kitchen or food preparation role (preferred).
Robust knife skills with speed and precision (mandatory).
Knowledge of cutting techniques like julienne, dice, chop, etc.:
Ability to read and interpret recipe manuals.
Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Culinary training or diploma in Food Production (optional but preferred).
