Hiring Alert - Consultant - MS SQL Server AdminExperience: 8 - 12 Years

Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SQL Server databases.
Monitor database performance and implement tuning recommendations.
Manage backups, restores, disaster recovery (DR), and high-availability (HA) solutions.
Troubleshoot database issues and perform root cause analysis.
Implement database security best practices, user access controls, and auditing.
Support database migrations, upgrades, and patching activities.

GCP Cloud SQL Administration
Provision and manage Cloud SQL instances (SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL).
Configure backups, replication, high availability, and failover mechanisms.
Monitor database health, performance, storage, and resource utilization.
Implement security controls, including IAM, encryption, and network access policies.
Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
Optimize costs and resource utilization within GCP settings.

MongoDB Administration
Install, configure,



and manage MongoDB databases.
Monitor replication, sharding, and cluster health.
Perform backup, recovery, and capacity planning activities.
Optimize query performance and indexing strategies.
Ensure data integrity, security, and high availability.

Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on Database Administration experience.
Robust expertise in Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Cloud SQL.
Experience managing MongoDB databases in production environments.
Robust knowledge of backup/recovery, HA/DR, replication, and performance tuning.
Experience with database monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Strong SQL scripting and automation skills.
Knowledge of database security, compliance, and access management best practices.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
