Position Summary

Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist patients, visitors, and healthcare providers in a courteous and skilled manner.
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
Register current patients and update existing patient records accurately.
Verify patient information, insurance details, and eligibility.
Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures.
Maintain electronic and physical medical records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
Collect payments, process billing information, and issue receipts.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and administrative staff regarding patient appointments and requirements.
Handle patient inquiries and resolve concerns professionally.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, data entry, and correspondence.

Qualifications:
Required
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in a receptionist, front-desk, or customer service role.
Solid verbal and written communication skills.




Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer-based scheduling systems.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Professional appearance and demeanor.

Preferred
Previous experience in a healthcare, hospital, clinic, or medical office setting.
Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Knowledge of insurance verification and medical billing procedures.
