Job Profile:
The consultant will support corridor-level assessment and planning for nature-based solutions under the Clean Air Zones project in Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam.
Key tasks include assessing existing green cover, roadside vegetation, site conditions, and ecological suitability; identifying suitable locations for green buffers, avenue plantations, vertical greening, pocket greening, and other NBS interventions; conducting GIS/remote sensing analysis and field validation; supporting species and greening typology selection; and preparing maps, field notes, technical inputs, presentations, and report sections.
The consultant will also assist in stakeholder consultations and coordination with project partners and city-level agencies,
