Job Summary:
The Production Floor Operation Lead is responsible for supervising daily shop floor activities related to electrical lights manufacturing (LED bulbs, tube lights, fixtures, drivers, etc.). The role ensures production targets are met with required quality standards, optimal manpower utilization, and adherence to safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:1. Production Management:
Plan and execute daily production schedules
Ensure achievement of production targets (quantity & timelines)
Monitor line-wise output and efficiency
Shop Floor Supervision:
Supervise operators and technicians on assembly lines
Ensure proper work allocation and manpower utilization
Monitor discipline and workflow on the production floor
Process Control:
Ensure SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) are followed
Monitor critical processes like soldering,



wiring, fitting, testing, packing
Identify and resolve production issues quickly
Quality Assurance:
Ensure products meet quality standards
Coordinate with QC team for inspections
Reduce rejection, rework, and defects
Material Coordination:
Ensure availability of raw materials (LEDs, drivers, housings, wires, etc.)
Coordinate with Stores and PPC teams
Minimize line stoppages due to material shortages
Team Handling:
Lead, train, and motivate production workers
Monitor attendance and performance
Provide on-the-job training to recent employees
Safety & Compliance:
Ensure safety practices are followed on the shop floor
Maintain clean and organized workplace (5S implementation)
Follow company policies and compliance standards
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain daily production reports
Track efficiency, downtime, and wastage
Report issues to Production M
