Key Responsibilities

- Handle mechanical maintenance of plywood manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- Ensure smooth operation of hot press, cold press, peeling machine, dryer, boiler, sanding machine, veneer lathe, conveyors and related equipment.
- Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and minimize machine downtime.
- Monitor bearings, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, pumps, motors, chains and belts.
- Maintain proper records of breakdowns, preventive maintenance and spare parts.
- Coordinate with production and electrical teams for maintenance activities.
- Ensure availability and proper management of critical mechanical spares.
- Supervise technicians, fitters and maintenance workers.
- Implement safety procedures and ensure compliance with plant safety standards.
- Support machine installation, commissioning and modification projects.




- Identify opportunities to improve machine reliability, productivity and maintenance cost.

Required Skills
- Solid knowledge of industrial mechanical maintenance.
- Good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of gearboxes, bearings, pumps, compressors, conveyors and power transmission systems.
- Ability to diagnose mechanical breakdowns quickly.
- Good knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Team-handling and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and maintenance reporting.

Preferred Experience Experience in plywood, veneer, MDF, particle board, wood processing or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.

Pay: ₹538,335.79 - ₹1,865,211.22 per year
