Job Purpose Drive B2B sales and business development for Mechtex's precision machining division, building recent client relationships and expanding machining business within the existing customer base. Key Responsibilities
Prospect, pitch, and secure current B2B clients for custom precision machining services.
Upsell the existing customer base to acquire machining business and expand key accounts.
Analyse customer requirements, engineering drawings, and specifications to offer viable machining and manufacturing solutions.
Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including RFQs (Requests for Quotation), proposal preparation, negotiation, and deal closure.
Work closely with the engineering and production teams to evaluate project feasibility, pricing, and delivery schedules. Skills and Competencies Required Technical Skills:



From basic to advanced understanding of precision machining/part manufacturing operations, including CNC, VMC, Turning, Milling, Hobbing, Broaching, Moulding, Overmoulding, and surface treatments like Hardening & Anodising. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Solid negotiation skills and clear communication. Prior experience in B2B technical sales, industrial sales, or business development within the manufacturing/machining sector. Qualifications Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering. Industry Background Preferred Manufacturing / B2B / Machining.
