Role Description This is a full-time, on-site LLM Security Research Internship based in Gurugram. The intern will assist in researching security vulnerabilities in LLMs and AI agents, including prompt injection, model exploitation, data leakage, and adversarial attacks.
Day-to-day tasks include reviewing AI architectures, analyzing attack surfaces, conducting experiments, documenting findings, and contributing to internal reports and proof-of-concept tools. The role involves collaborating with security engineers and researchers, participating in threat modeling sessions, and staying current with developments in AI and cybersecurity. Interns may also help build demo environments, develop test cases,
and support the creation of best-practice guidelines for secure LLM deployment.
Qualifications
- A strong foundation in Application Security, with the ability to understand and evaluate security controls in AI and software systems.
- Skills in security research and malware analysis to investigate, prototype, document emerging threats targeting LLMS, AI agents.
- Experience or coursework in Reverse Engineering for analyzing system behavior, tools, and potential exploitation paths.
- Familiarity with LLMs, machine learning concepts, or AI systems, and interest in security challenges specific to these technologies.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (such as Python, C/C++, or Java) and comfort with scripting and automation.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in office in Gurugram, collaborate in a team environment, and manage tasks independently.
- Pursuing or having recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; relevant projects, hackathons, or open-source contributions are a plus.
