Role: Capital Markets Manual Tester

Job Summary

We are looking for a Manual Tester with 2–4 years of experience in Capital Markets to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, preparing test scenarios and test cases, executing functional and regression testing, and validating end-to-end capital market workflows.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Capital Markets products, trade lifecycle, order management, settlements, and financial transactions, along with valuable hands-on experience in manual testing.

Responsibilities
Perform manual functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
Analyze requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
Validate Capital Markets trade lifecycle from order/trade booking to settlement.




Test workflows related to Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, or FX.
Identify, log, track, and retest defects using JIRA/ALM.
Perform backend/data validation using SQL.
Work closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product teams.
Prepare test execution reports and support UAT/release activities.

Required Skills
2–4 years of experience in Capital Markets domain testing.
Robust knowledge of Manual Testing and STLC/SDLC.
Valuable understanding of Trade Lifecycle and Capital Markets processes.
Hands-on experience with SQL.
Experience with defect management tools such as JIRA/ALM.
Positive analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Valuable to Have: Knowledge of FIX, SWIFT, APIs, and basic automation.
