Position: Field Engineer (Transmission Line-I)

Project: Independent Engineer – Establishment of 765/400/220 kV AIS Pune East

Client: Maharashtra State Transmission Utility (MSTU)

Location: Pune East, Maharashtra

Duration: 22 Months

Role Overview

Support the Independent Engineer function through in office monitoring, quality assurance, and technical supervision of transmission line construction, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and inspect transmission line construction/erection activities.
Verify contractor's work against approved drawings and specifications.
Ensure QA/QC compliance and safety adherence at site.
Coordinate with contractor, client, and internal project team.




Report deviations/non-conformances and track corrective actions.
Maintain site documentation and progress reports.
Support material inspection, testing, and commissioning.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Experience in transmission line construction/supervision (765kV/400kV/220kV preferred).
Familiarity with Independent Engineer (IE) monitoring functions.
