Roles and Responsibilities
Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for assigned area/region in support of national objectives.
Review and communicate proposals and cost estimates to customers and stakeholders
Increase overall sales efficiency and profitability through excellent salesmanship
Meets region/area sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Maintains and expands customer base by counseling district sales representatives; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying recent customer opportunities.
Recommends product lines by identifying recent product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
Implements trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending.
Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Relationship building. Externally, with customers and suppliers. Internally with different related and supporting departments.
Contribute to the strategic planning of an annual or long term marketing plan to drive forward agreed company objectives.
