Qualification

Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Food Production, Culinary Arts, or Catering Technology .

Professional Experience
1–2 years of cashier or restaurant experience preferred.
Freshers with good communication and computer skills may also be considered.

Role Purpose

The Cashier is responsible for processing customer orders and payments accurately, operating the Point of Sale (POS) system, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate cash and sales records. The role ensures a smooth and effective billing experience while supporting daily restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities
Ø Greet customers warmly and assist with billing and payment queries.
Ø Operate the POS system to generate accurate bills.
Ø Accept cash, card, UPI, and other digital payments.
Ø Issue receipts and process refunds or discounts as per company policy.
Ø Balance the cash drawer and reconcile transactions at the end of each shift.




Ø Maintain accurate records of daily sales and cash collections.
Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure correct order billing.
Ø Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when required.
Ø Keep the cashier counter clean, organized, and secure.
Ø Follow company policies for cash handling, hygiene, and customer service.
Skills & Competencies
Ø Basic knowledge of POS and billing software.
Ø Strong numerical and cash-handling skills.
Ø Good communication and customer service skills.
Ø Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ø Ability to work in a rapid-paced workplace.
Ø Basic computer knowledge.

Key Relationships
External: Food Supply Vendors, Third-Party Catering Auditors.
Internal: Executive Chef, Sous Chef, Section In-charges (CDP/DCDP), Junior Commis/Trainees, and Clinical Dieticians.
