Job Description – Construction Site Supervisor

Position: Site Supervisor – Construction
Experience: 2–3 Years

Location: Chennai / Project Site

Job Responsibilities
Supervise daily construction activities at the project site.
Coordinate with Site Engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and workers.
Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
Monitor manpower, materials, tools, and equipment.
Check the quality and progress of construction work.
Maintain daily work progress and site records.
Take basic site measurements and verify completed work.
Ensure proper utilization of materials and minimize wastage.
Report site issues, delays, and requirements to the Site Engineer.
Ensure workers follow safety procedures and site rules.




Coordinate with different teams to ensure smooth execution of work.

Required Skills
Positive knowledge of basic civil construction activities.
Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
Knowledge of RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, shuttering, and finishing works.
Valuable manpower and subcontractor coordination skills.
Basic knowledge of measurements and quantity checking.
Positive communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualification

Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering preferred.

Preferred Experience

2–3 years of experience in building construction or construction site supervision.
