Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Lab Technician to perform laboratory tests accurately and efficiently while maintaining quality, safety, and patient-care standards.

Key Responsibilities
Collect, receive, label, and process blood, urine, and other clinical samples.
Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests as per department requirements.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
Prepare reagents, solutions, and laboratory materials as required.
Ensure accurate testing, documentation, and timely reporting of results.
Follow proper sample handling, storage, and disposal procedures.
Maintain laboratory records, registers, and reports.
Follow infection-control, biomedical waste management, and laboratory safety protocols.
Perform quality-control checks and report discrepancies or abnormal findings to the concerned senior/doctor.
Ensure cleanliness and proper organization of the laboratory.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other hospital departments regarding investigations and reports.




Maintain patient confidentiality and follow hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications
DMLT / B.Sc. MLT / B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent qualification.
Valid registration/certification as applicable.
Relevant hospital or diagnostic laboratory experience preferred.

Skills Required
Valuable knowledge of laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing.
Valuable sample collection and handling skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic computer and laboratory information system (LIS) knowledge.
Positive communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple samples efficiently.

Experience

1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.

Working Conditions
Rotational shifts as per hospital requirements.
Must follow all hospital safety, infection-control, and quality standards.

Pay: From ₹17,000.00 per month
