Primary Teacher Job Description Overview
Role Purpose: To teach core subjects (English, Math, Science, Social Studies) and nurture holistic development.
Target Group: Students aged 6–11 years (Grades 1–5).
Setting: Classroom-based, with collaboration across staff, parents, and school administration.

Key Responsibilities
Lesson Planning: Create and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives.
Classroom Management: Establish rules, maintain discipline, and ensure a protected learning environment.
Student Assessment: Evaluate progress through assignments, quizzes, and exams; provide constructive feedback.
Parental Communication: Regularly update parents on academic performance and behavior.
Adapted Teaching: Modify methods to meet diverse learning needs (slow learners, advanced students).
Collaboration:



Work with colleagues and administration to enhance overall learning outcomes.
School Participation: Engage in events, extracurricular activities, and staff meetings.

Qualifications & Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
Certification: Valid teaching license (as per state/national requirements).
Skills:
Solid communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of child psychology and pedagogy.
Classroom technology integration.
Patience, creativity, and adaptability.

Pay: Up to ₹15,069.58 per month
