Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Banquet Manager to oversee banquet operations and ensure the smooth execution of weddings, corporate events, conferences, parties, and other functions at the resort. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership, guest-handling, and event-management skills.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and supervise all banquet and event operations.
Manage weddings, conferences, parties, corporate events, and social functions.
Coordinate with clients to understand event requirements and ensure smooth execution.
Supervise banquet staff, stewards, captains, and service teams.
Plan seating arrangements, table setups, décor requirements, and service flow.
Coordinate with kitchen, housekeeping, front office, and other departments.
Ensure timely food and beverage service during events.
Monitor service quality and maintain high guest satisfaction.
Handle guest queries, complaints, and special requests professionally.
Conduct pre-event briefings and allocate duties to banquet staff.
Monitor banquet inventory, equipment, crockery, cutlery, and other supplies.
Ensure proper billing, event documentation,



and coordination with accounts.
Maintain hygiene, grooming, safety, and service standards.
Control operational costs and minimize wastage.
Supervise event setup, execution, and post-event closing activities.

Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality preferred.
3–5 years of experience in banquet operations, preferably in a resort or hotel.
Strong knowledge of banquet and event operations.
Excellent communication and guest-handling skills.
Good leadership and team-management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple events and tasks simultaneously.
Robust problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Versatile to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Well-groomed and skilled personality.
