The intern will gain practical experience in developing, customizing, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress websites while working on real-time projects under the guidance of experienced developers.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and customize WordPress websites based on project requirements.
Create and modify WordPress pages using themes, plugins, and page builders.
Assist in developing responsive and user-friendly website interfaces.
Customize WordPress themes and templates as required.
Install, configure, and manage WordPress plugins.
Assist with website maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting.
Identify and resolve basic website errors and technical issues.
Optimize websites for performance, responsiveness, and basic SEO.
Ensure websites are compatible across different browsers and devices.
Assist in website content updates and management.
Work with developers and designers to implement website requirements.
Maintain proper documentation of development activities.
Learn and apply current WordPress development practices and tools.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of WordPress CMS.
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with WordPress themes and plugins.
Basic knowledge of responsive web design.
Understanding of website hosting and domain concepts is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of SEO principles is an added advantage.
Familiarity with Elementor or other WordPress page builders is preferred.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Willingness to learn current technologies and tools.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field.
