About the Role
At Bhanzu Learning Centers in Texas, US, we're building something new - a training program that equips teachers to eliminate math fear and help young learners develop lifelong confidence. As a Lead Trainer, you'll be designing and delivering training sessions that teach Bhanzu's distinctive learning philosophy to educators.
This is a full-time, remote position for passionate educators ready to build a process from scratch.
About Bhanzu
Founded by Neelakantha Bhanu - the World's Fastest Human Calculator and TEDx Speaker - Bhanzu is a global learning movement with over 50,000 students in 15+ countries.
We offer Math, English, and High School classes through both online (global) and offline (US only) classrooms. In this role, you'll train and develop educators for our Bhanzu Learning Centers in Texas, who deliver offline, in-person classes to our US-based student community.
? What You’ll Do
- Train educators in Bhanzu's logic-first pedagogy - a teaching approach that emphasizes understanding the WHY before teaching the WHAT & HOW, using hands-on learning, real-world examples, and child-centric instruction
- Conduct onboarding and upskilling sessions that equip teachers to deliver high-impact, student-centric classes for grades UKG–10
- Co-develop training materials - rubrics, handbooks, SOPs, and feedback frameworks that define how Bhanzu training should work
- Monitor and measure training effectiveness and teacher classroom performance; provide structured, actionable feedback
- Iterate and improve - you'll experiment with what works, learn from teachers, and continuously refine the training process
- Represent Bhanzu's philosophy consistently across all training touchpoints
This role is equal parts trainer, builder, and strategist. ✅ What You Need
Must-Have:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience training or mentoring educators (ideally Math, but adjacent subjects welcome if your training background is strong)
- Strong foundation in Mathematics - Master's/Bachelor's degree in Math or related fields
- Experience teaching students in the US education system (understanding of learning standards, Common Core, or similar frameworks)
- Excellent communication skills - clear, articulate spoken & written English (CEFR B2 or above)
- Ownership Driven - You're comfortable with ambiguity, experimental thinking, and unlearning. You thrive when defining processes rather than executing them.
Good to Have:
- Experience in curriculum design or instructional development
- Familiarity with edtech platforms, remote training tools, or LMS platforms
- Prior exposure to training/mentoring in remote or hybrid settings
Time Commitment
- Full time role: 2 AM – 10 AM IST (Work From Home)
- Why this timing? You'll be training educators across the US while based in India - a unique opportunity to build a globally-relevant training model from an emerging market perspective.
- Weekly off: Sunday
? Why Join Bhanzu?
- Build something from scratch - You're not implementing someone else's playbook; you're creating the playbook itself for how math training should work
- Mission-driven impact - Be part of a global EdTech movement reshaping how 50,000+ children learn math
- Work with visionaries - Collaborate closely with Neelakantha Bhanu and a team committed to educational innovation
- High ownership + rapid growth - In a fast-paced, learning-focused environment, your ideas and adaptability directly shape the future
- 100% remote - Work from anywhere with a diverse, global peer group
? The Real Talk
We're still figuring out what excellence in trainer development looks like at Bhanzu Learning Centers in the US. This role requires someone who's as excited about the journey as the destination - someone who can embrace experimentation, solicit feedback, and continuously iterate. If you want a defined playbook, this isn't it. If you want to help write it, let's talk.
