Role Summary

Responsible for driving retail sales across both General Trade (GT) and Up-to-date Trade (MT) channels in the North Delhi territory, managing distributor/retailer networks, and delivering primary and secondary sales targets for the Fortune Gourmet portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow GT (kirana, wholesale, distributor network) and MT (supermarkets, hypermarkets, chain stores) channels simultaneously in North Delhi
Achieve monthly/quarterly primary and secondary sales targets
Appoint, develop, and monitor distributors and stockists; ensure adequate ROI and stock availability
Build and maintain relationships with key MT accounts (chain buyers, category managers)
Drive market penetration, recent outlet expansion, and range selling




Plan and execute trade promotions, schemes, and merchandising activities
Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and market trends in the territory
Lead, train, and manage a team of Sales Officers/Executives and merchandisers
Ensure timely and accurate sales reporting (DSR, claims, scheme settlements)
Coordinate with supply chain for stock planning and fill-rate management

Requirements
8–12 years of experience in FMCG sales, with proven exposure to both GT and MT channels
Prior experience in edible oil / food FMCG category preferred (Fortune, Saffola, Sundrop, Emami, etc.)
Solid knowledge of North Delhi trade geography and distributor landscape
Experience managing a sales team and distributor network
Graduate / MBA preferred
Strong negotiation, analytical, and relationship management skills
