We are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team. In this role, you will learn the fundamentals of organic search optimization by assisting with keyword research, on-page optimization, content audits, link building, and performance tracking. Key Responsibilities
Keyword & Competitor Research: Assist in discovering search intent, target keywords, and content gaps using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
On-Page Optimization: Help optimize meta titles, meta descriptions, heading tags, URL slugs, image alt text, and internal linking structures.
Content Support: Review existing blog posts and web pages to recommend updates based on current search trends and SEO best practices.
Off-Page SEO & Outreach: Support ethical link-building campaigns, directory submissions, and local citation management.
Site Audits & Technical Hygiene: Help identify crawl errors, broken links (404s), duplicate content, and missing tags alongside senior analysts.
Reporting & Analytics: Pull traffic, impression,



and ranking reports using Google Search Console and Google Analytics (GA4).

Requirements & Skills
Basic understanding of how search engines crawl, index, and rank web pages.
Familiarity with on-page SEO factors (title tags, headers, meta descriptions).
Solid written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
Working knowledge of Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas).
Eagerness to learn, adapt to search engine algorithm shifts, and ask questions.

Bonus:* Prior coursework or certifications (Google, HubSpot, Semrush Academy) or hands-on familiarity with WordPress/CMS platforms.
