Job Description – Sorting Center Incharge (Meesho Operations)

Position- Sorting Center Incharge

Location-Bidar Karnataka

Reporting To- Head Operations (Head office)

About the Role

The Sorting Center Incharge will be responsible for managing end-to-end sorting center operations for Meesho shipments, ensuring timely processing, accurate sorting, dispatch compliance, manpower management, and achievement of operational KPIs and SLAs.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management
Manage daily sorting center activities including inbound, scanning, sorting, bagging, loading, and dispatch.
Ensure all Meesho shipments are processed within defined TAT and SLA requirements.
Monitor shipment flow to avoid backlogs and operational bottlenecks.
Ensure smooth coordination with transportation partners and Meesho operations teams.

Team Management
Lead and manage sorting center supervisors, associates, and contractual workforce.
Prepare manpower rosters and ensure optimum workforce utilization.
Conduct daily operational briefings and performance reviews.
Train staff on process compliance, safety, and productivity standards.

KPI & SLA Management
Achieve Meesho operational KPIs, including:




Scan Compliance
Bagging Compliance
Dispatch Compliance
Connection Compliance
Shipment Accuracy
Productivity per Headcount
Analyze daily reports and implement corrective actions for performance gaps.

Quality & Compliance
Ensure 100% process adherence and shipment integrity.
Minimize missorts, damages, and operational errors.
Maintain proper documentation and audit records.
Ensure workplace safety and compliance with company policies.

Reporting & Coordination
Prepare and share daily operational MIS and productivity reports.
Coordinate with Meesho stakeholders for volume planning and issue resolution.
Escalate critical operational issues and implement preventive actions.

Required Skills
Robust knowledge of courier, logistics, warehouse, and sorting center operations.
Experience in handling high-volume eCommerce operations.
Team leadership and manpower management skills.
Valuable knowledge of Excel and operational reporting.
Ability to work under pressure and manage strict SLAs.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
