About the Role

OBS Digital Services is an early-stage startup building high-impact, multi-sided marketplace platforms and AI-integrated digital ecosystems. We are looking for a strong Backend Developer to take ownership of our core infrastructure, APIs, and Generative AI integration pipelines.

You will work directly with our General Manager and collaborate closely with our frontend and mobile teams to architect scalable microservices and robust databases.

Key Responsibilities
API Architecture: Design, build, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services using Python and FastAPI.
AI Integration: Implement and manage applied Generative AI pipelines, prompt engineering workflows, and local/cloud LLM integrations.
Database Management: Design scalable relational and non-relational database schemas (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) to handle multi-sided platform data securely.
System Optimization: Write clean, production-grade code while ensuring low latency, high availability, and secure data flow across the ecosystem.

Required Skills & Experience
Backend Expertise: Solid hands-on experience with Python and frameworks like FastAPI (or Django/Flask with a willingness to adapt).
Database Mastery: Robust understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases, query optimization, and schema design.




Version Control & Deployment: Proficiency with Git, GitHub, and basic cloud deployment/server management concepts.
Problem Solving: Ability to translate complex product requirements into logical backend architectures and microservices.
