Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

1)Proficient in Surface/Solid modeling & Assembly Design using CATIA V5 and 3DX 2)Should be able to prepare & deliver presentations of the concepts.

3)Perform CAD studies for vehicle variants with Different platform.

- Should have knowledge in Plastic and sheetmetal design and development.
- Should have knowledge in display design,technology and Child parts.

6)) Should be able to do tolerance stack up & GD&T; added advantage.
- Should have knowledge on working of BOM details of components.

8)Perform high-level concept development to meet system and vehicle requirements while understanding how to optimize these systems for function, efficiency, cost, weight, ergonomics, manufacturability and serviceability.

9)Initiate, Interact with CFT & Design engineers for system integration to realise the required Display feature with Quality , Cost and Time.

10)Demonstrate ability to handle multiple competing work assignments from engineering, studio, and manufacturing.

- Releasing all technical specification to suppliers for components/systems for Display systems.
- Meeting the cost targets specified without compromising quality of the product and also bringing out some cost effective solution thro IMCR/VAVE activities.
- Must demonstrate a high degree of problem solving ability, especially in the field of expertise. Usage of Quality tools, DFMEA,Design Reviews & Project management

14)Managing and tracking of Display design release, development, validation & field failures

15)Address and assist team for build & validation issues until SOP.

16)Interact with supplier from concept to SOP capturing all SOR requirements.





17)Should capture all technical requirements on SOR, DVP,TSO, TKO meeting all functional, interface quality & regulatory standards/requirements with in project time line

18)Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure quality and production goals.

19)Conducting failure analysis on display defects to improve product quality.

20)Should know the design concepts and future technologies from global market and execution of the same

21)Fluent in use of personal computer programs such as Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.

Experience

6 to 9 years

Industry Preferred

Any other OEM or Tier I like Visteon, Marelli, Forvia,BOE,LG Tata, VW, Mercedez, BMW, Skoda

Qualifications

BE/B Tech Electrical and Mechanical Engineering

General Requirements

Very Positive Vehicle system knowledge in Display and other E&E; agregates in the vehicle Market research & Industry trend analysis through tools like benchmarking, networking, conferences, papers, etc

Design thinking through collaboration with internal studio, experts across industries & suppliers for amalgamating the technology into the product

Exposure in Catia V5

Knowledge in electronics & LEDs

Program management skills

Basic level knowledge in Vehicle electronics





Basic Knowledge of Teamcenter and 3DX experience

Interfacing with all inter dept teams from start to end of project to ensure First Time Right

Abreast on latest technologies across industry

Maintaining quality level tragets as per agreement

Adhering to committed timelines

Program management & detailed documentation

Open to short/medium term travel on need basis, across India & overseas

Good knowledge on systems like design review’s/ DFMEA’s
