Lead Engineer - BIW | Automotive R&D;

Role overview

Develop automotive cab, body and product systems from concept through detailed design, validation and engineering release.

Key responsibilities

- Create concepts, layouts, 3D models, drawings and design releases
- Complete DFMEA, DVP&R;, tolerance and packaging reviews
- Coordinate CAE, testing, manufacturing and supplier inputs
- Resolve validation, quality and field issues through structured engineering

Candidate profile Engineering professional with 10–15 years of relevant experience in BIW. Solid practical evidence in DFMEA, BIW,



sheet metal, welding, homologation, crash analysis, fatigue. Experience in automotive, commercial vehicles, mobility or an adjacent product-engineering environment is preferred.

Location and inclusion

Primary work location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Candidates from Chennai and across Tamil Nadu will receive priority outreach. Professionals currently in Chennai, Oragadam, Sriperumbudur, Kanchipuram, Hosur, Coimbatore, Bengaluru, Pune, NCR who are open to relocate to Chennai are encouraged to apply.
