Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Landscape Architect role based in Bengaluru.

The Landscape

Architect will develop design concepts, drawings, and detailed plans for outdoor spaces, including gardens, courtyards, public areas, and integrated landscape systems for architectural projects.

Responsibilities include site analysis, preparation of master plans and planting schemes, coordination of materials and environmental systems, and collaboration with architects and interior designers to ensure cohesive project outcomes. The role involves working directly with clients and consultants, preparing presentations and reports, and supporting design reviews throughout all project phases.

The Landscape

Architect will also oversee design documentation, support construction supervision, and contribute to sustainable and context-sensitive landscape solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop landscape concepts, zoning plans and schematic designs.
- Prepare planting plans, hardscape layouts, paving patterns and landscape details.




- Select appropriate plants based on climate, site conditions, aesthetics and maintenance requirements.
- Produce presentation drawings, mood boards, material palettes and design reports.
- Prepare detailed working drawings, BOQs and specifications.
- Coordinate landscape proposals with architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
- Develop 3D models and realistic landscape visualizations.
- Coordinate with nurseries, landscape contractors, vendors and consultants.
- Attend site visits and review landscape execution for design compliance.
- Assist with material selection, sample approvals and quantity verification.
- Manage assigned work and meet project timelines.

Qualifications

- Strong landscape design and planning skills, including concept development, site analysis, and preparation of drawings and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software and comfort with visualization software for presentations.
- Knowledge of planting design, materials, and construction techniques, with an understanding of climate-responsive and sustainable landscape practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary studio, communicate clearly with clients and consultants, and present design ideas visually and verbally.
- Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture with prior studio or professional experience in landscape.
- Attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in an on-site studio environment.
- Interest in experimental, boundary-pushing design approaches and sensitivity to cultural, social, and environmental contexts.
