Pet Trust Hospital is a busy veterinary hospital providing comprehensive care for pets. We are looking for a skilled Lab Technician to support our diagnostic operations.
We are hiring a full-time Lab Technician to perform diagnostic tests, handle lab equipment, and assist doctors with accurate and timely test results.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, prepare, and process samples (blood, urine, stool, etc.) for testing
- Operate and maintain lab equipment (hematology, biochemistry analyzers, microscopes, etc.)
- Perform routine diagnostic tests as per doctors' orders
- Record and report test results accurately and promptly
- Maintain cleanliness, sterilization, and proper storage of lab equipment and reagents
- Maintain stock of lab consumables and coordinate reordering
- Follow safety protocols for handling biological samples and hazardous materials
- Coordinate with doctors and hospital staff for smooth diagnostic workflow
Requirements
- DMLT / BMLT or equivalent Lab Technology qualification (freshers welcome to apply)
- Basic computer knowledge for report generation and record-keeping
- Attention to detail and accuracy in test handling
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work in a quick-paced hospital environment
- Prior lab experience (veterinary or human diagnostics) is a plus but not mandatory
