Key Responsibilities:
1. Process Design and Optimization
- Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes used in water purification, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze existing water treatment processes and recommend improvements to increase operational efficiency and product quality.
1. Water Treatment and Purification
- Oversee the chemical processes related to water purification, including filtration, chemical dosing, and disinfection.
- Ensure that water treatment methods align with industry standards and regulatory requirements for potable water quality.
1. Chemical Analysis and Quality Control
- Conduct chemical analyses of raw materials, water samples, and final products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor chemical reactions, mixing, and purification processes, ensuring that chemical properties of the water are in accordance with specified guidelines.
- Develop and implement testing procedures to assess the effectiveness of chemical treatments in the purification process.
1. Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving
- Identify and resolve issues related to the chemical processes in the production of water purifiers.
- Troubleshoot any discrepancies in chemical handling or water treatment and provide immediate solutions to minimize production delays.
1. Compliance and Safety Management
- Ensure all chemical processes meet the required health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Monitor the proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals to avoid accidents or environmental hazards.
- Stay updated on relevant safety regulations, chemical handling standards, and environmental compliance requirements.
1. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams
- Work closely with production, quality control, and R&D; teams to ensure chemical processes align with overall production and product development goals.
- Provide technical expertise and support in the development and enhancement of water purifier products, including filtration media and chemical treatments.
- Collaborate with the R & D team to design productive systems for chemical dosing, mixing, and filtration.
1. Monitoring and Reporting
- Continuously monitor chemical processes, ensuring that parameters such as chemical concentrations, pH levels, and flow rates are within optimal ranges.
- Maintain detailed records of chemical usage, test results, and process improvements.
- Generate reports on process performance, safety, and quality metrics for review by management.
1. Training and Knowledge Sharing
- Provide training to production staff on chemical processes, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Share knowledge of chemical treatments, water purification methods, and new innovations within the team to promote continuous improvement.
1. Cost Optimization
- Evaluate chemical usage and recommend cost-effective alternatives or process adjustments to reduce operational expenses without compromising quality.
- Monitor chemical inventory and optimize the use of resources to minimize waste.
1. Supplier and Vendor Management
- Liaise with suppliers of chemicals and materials to ensure the quality and timely delivery of resources required for production.
- Evaluate and select new suppliers, ensuring they meet the company’s standards for quality and safety.
1. Environmental Impact Management
- Ensure that all chemical processes align with the company’s sustainability and environmental impact goals.
- Develop strategies to minimize waste generation and manage chemical by-products in an environmentally responsible manner.
1. Other Responsibilities
- Support any other tasks or projects as assigned by the senior management to improve production processes and company operations.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and potential solutions to improve the chemical engineering aspects of the production line.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry
- Proven experience in chemical engineering, particularly in water treatment, purification, or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of water purification processes, chemical treatments, and filtration technologies.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and safety protocols related to chemical processes and water quality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex chemical processes.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and conduct chemical analyses.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using chemical engineering software and process simulation tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
