Role Description The L1 Network Support Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi, responsible for providing first-level support for network-related issues. This role involves monitoring network devices and links, responding to alerts and tickets, and performing initial diagnosis of connectivity, performance, and configuration problems.

The engineer will handle basic network administration tasks, escalate complex incidents to senior engineers, and document resolutions and procedures in a clear and consistent manner. Daily activities include coordinating with internal teams and vendors, assisting with scheduled maintenance,



and ensuring adherence to network security and operational standards. The role requires shift-based work as needed to support business operations and maintain high availability of network services.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Network Administration and Network Engineering to support and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, and related infrastructure.
- Candidates should possess skills in Technical Support and Troubleshooting to handle L1 incident response, ticket management, and basic diagnostics for network issues.
- Candidates should possess skills in Network Security to follow security best practices, support access control policies, and assist in monitoring for potential threats.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accurate documentation of incidents and resolutions.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with team members, stakeholders, and vendors in a clear and professional manner.
- Relevant certification or coursework (such as CCNA or equivalent) and a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field is preferred.
