JOMO Home Interiors is hiring an Interior Designer to join our growing team in Mogappair, Chennai. We design homes people love coming back to and we're looking for someone who shares that obsession with detail, function, and beauty.
What you'll do
Understand client requirements, lifestyle, and budget, and translate them into design concepts and layouts
Prepare mood boards, 2D/3D layouts, and material/finish selections
Create detailed drawings and specifications for execution (modular furniture, false ceiling, lighting, etc.)
Coordinate with site engineers and vendors to ensure design intent is executed correctly on site
Present design concepts and revisions to clients and guide them through decision-making
Stay current with interior design trends, materials,
and sustainable practices
What we're looking for
Degree/diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar)
A strong eye for space planning, color, and materials
Good communication skills to manage client conversations confidently
Prior experience in residential interior design is a plus, but fresh talent with a robust portfolio is welcome
