Job SummaryWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Design Engineer to join our R&D; team. The candidate will support product design, development, modification, and improvement activities for modular kitchens, wardrobes, bathroom vanities, and other sheet-metal furniture products.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in designing and developing new products and components as per requirements.
- Prepare and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software.
- Develop detailed drawings for sheet-metal components, assemblies, and fixtures.
- Prepare and update BOM, BOQ, part drawings, and technical documentation.
- Support prototype development and coordinate with Production, QC, PPC, and other departments for trials.
- Conduct product trials and identify design-related issues during development.
- Modify designs based on trial results, production feedback, and quality requirements.
- Ensure designs are suitable for manufacturing, assembly, and cost optimization.
- Support development of new products and improvement of existing products.
- Assist in preparing drawings for laser cutting, bending, fabrication, and assembly.
- Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, prototypes, and engineering changes.




- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for new component development when required.
- Follow company standards, design procedures, and quality requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
- Basic to good knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and basic manufacturing processes.
- Basic knowledge of sheet-metal design, laser cutting, bending, fabrication, and assembly will be an advantage.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to learn new software and design techniques.
- Solid attention to detail and willingness to work in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Fresher or candidate with 0–2 years of relevant experience in product design/R&D.;
- Candidates with exposure to sheet-metal products, modular furniture, modular kitchens, or manufacturing will be preferred.
- Should be willing to work from the Bhiwandi factory location.
- Should have a practical and learning-oriented approach.
