We're Hiring | Java Trainer – Chennai
AISECT India is looking for an experienced Java Trainer to deliver skill development training to college students across Chennai.

Position: Java Trainer
Location: Chennai (in office at partner colleges, travel within Chennai required)
Employment Type: Full-time
Experience: Minimum 2 years in the teaching / training field
Roles and Responsibilities
- Travel to partner colleges in and around Chennai and deliver Java training to students
- Conduct classroom and lab sessions on Core Java, OOP concepts and Java Full Stack technologies
- Prepare lesson plans, coding exercises, assignments and practical projects
- Assess student performance through assignments, projects and evaluations, and provide constructive feedback
- Mentor students and prepare them to become job-ready and placement-ready
- Update training content in line with current industry practices, tools and frameworks
- Coordinate with college academic coordinators to align the training with institutional requirements
- Maintain attendance and training records, and submit periodic progress reports
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a trainer, faculty member or technical instructor
- Strong command of Core Java, OOP concepts, and familiarity with Java frameworks and tools
- Ability to explain complex programming concepts clearly through examples, demos and hands-on practice
- Experience in designing curricula and preparing training material
- Comfortable using coding IDEs, LMS platforms and online learning resources
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline
- Strong communication, facilitation and classroom management skills
- Willingness to travel to colleges within Chennai
Good to Have
- Prior experience training college students or handling campus batches
- Exposure to Spring Boot, Hibernate, SQL and front-end technologies
