About The Role We're looking for a Senior Java Developer to design, build, and scale backend services for a high throughput, low latency platform with strict reliability and auditability requirements. You'll own end-to-end delivery—from design to production—collaborating closely with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure robust and efficient solutions.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on mission-critical systems, utilizing modern cloud infrastructure and development practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and related technologies, with a passion for building resilient, scalable, and secure backend services that meet stringent performance standards.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 9+ years of professional experience in backend development, with a proven track record in Java-based systems. Solid expertise in Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security) is essential, along with extensive experience working with PostgreSQL,



including schema modeling and query optimization.

Hands-on experience with AWS services such as ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS/Aurora, and S3 is required, demonstrating proficiency in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting cloud-native applications. Additionally, familiarity with containerization (Docker), infrastructure as code (Terraform or CloudFormation), and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions is highly desirable. Candidates should also have a solid understanding of secure coding practices, observability tools, and distributed system resilience patterns.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate ambiguous requirements into actionable technical plans are crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities The Senior Java Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing microservices and event-driven components in Java (preferably Java 17+). They will model and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and transactions to ensure high performance and data integrity.

Building resilient, observable services on AWS platforms such as ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, and RDS/Aurora will be a core part of the role, along with implementing security and compliance controls, including authentication, authorization, secrets management, and encryption. The role involves owning production operations, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure system stability and reliability.



The developer will contribute to architectural decisions, participate in code reviews, and uphold engineering standards across the team.

Additionally, they will leverage CI/CD practices, utilizing tools like GitHub Actions and GitHub Copilot to accelerate high-quality delivery while maintaining best practices for code quality, security, and scalability.
