About The Role We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our fully remote team at Textellent, Inc. This role is pivotal in driving our platform’s scalability, performance, and innovation.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust backend systems, creating high-performance APIs, and utilizing AI tools to automate and optimize development workflows. As a key member of our development team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful features that enhance our SMS marketing automation platform. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess 4 to 7 years of experience in backend development, with a strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and AWS cloud services. Familiarity with or a keen interest in AI-based development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or Lovable is highly desirable.

Candidates should have prior experience working remotely, demonstrating excellent communication and collaboration skills. A solid understanding of database design, cloud deployment, and CI/CD pipelines is essential. Responsibilities As a Backend Developer at Textellent, Inc., your responsibilities will include:

- Developing and maintaining scalable backend functionalities using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Designing, optimizing, and managing relational databases with SQL to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Deploying and managing applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, S3, RDS, SNS, and SQS services.
- Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools like GitHub and Jenkins to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes.
- Utilizing AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and delivery cycles, ensuring high-quality output.




- Collaborating effectively with remote cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver impactful features and improvements.
- Participating in code reviews, troubleshooting, and optimizing system performance to ensure reliability and scalability.
