Role Description The IQGEO role at Inovaantage is a full time, hybrid position based in Delhi, India, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role focuses on implementing, configuring, and supporting IQGEO-based solutions for utility and telecom clients, including data modeling, workflow design, and system integration with existing GIS and operational platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with project teams to gather requirements, designing and maintaining IQGEO configurations, performing data validation and quality checks, and troubleshooting application and integration issues.
The role also involves preparing technical documentation,
supporting user training and onboarding, and contributing to continuous improvement of IQGEO implementation methodologies. The individual will work closely with global stakeholders to ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with client digital transformation goals.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in GIS platforms and spatial data handling, ideally including experience with IQGEO, ESRI Utility Network, or similar geospatial technologies.
- Competence in system integration and configuration, such as APIs, data migration tools, and working with IT/OT environments in utilities or telecommunications.
- Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into technical workflows, configurations, and data models for geospatial and operational systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and performing root-cause analysis for application, data, and performance issues.
- Experience with project delivery in a collaborative workplace, including requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Geoinformatics, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional and cross-geography teams.
- Prior experience in utilities or telecom domains, particularly in GIS, ADMS, OMS, or asset management projects, is highly beneficial.
