Role Description The Ioms Software Specialist is a full time, on-site role based in Chennai. This position involves developing, configuring, and maintaining Ioms-related software modules to support business operations and client requirements.

The specialist will design and implement database structures, write and optimize code, and ensure system stability through regular testing, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, documenting technical specifications, and providing user support and training for deployed solutions. The role also requires staying current with best practices in software design and contributing to continuous improvement of tools and workflows.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Software Development and Programming for building, customizing, and optimizing Ioms applications.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Databases to design schemas, write queries,



and manage data integrity and performance.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Software Design to create scalable, maintainable, and secure system architectures and application components.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Testing to perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing and ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience working with enterprise software systems, preferably in consulting or service-based environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and adapt to a fast-paced on-site environment in Chennai.
