- Receiving and Inspecting: Unload incoming deliveries, verify quantities against purchase orders, and inspect items for damage or missing goods. [1, 2]
- Stock Organization: Sort and store linens, toiletries, cleaning supplies, and kitchen goods in designated storerooms in a clean and orderly layout. [1, 2]
- Record Keeping: Update inventory management software and logs daily with incoming and outgoing stock movements. [1, 2]
- Auditing: Conduct regular physical counts and cycle counts to reconcile actual stock against system databases. [1, 2]
- Cross-Department Coordination: Communicate with department heads (like Executive Housekeepers or F&B; Managers) to flag low stock levels and manage replenishment. [1, 2]
- Discrepancy Reporting: Identify damaged, expired, or missing items and report variances to management to prevent loss
