Internal Audit Manager (Manufacturing)

- You are responsible for leading audit engagements and ensuring that the organization complies with internal policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, risk-based audits and evaluates internal controls across plant operations, supply chains, and financial systems in manufacturing set up.
- This role involves coordinating with various departments, evaluating internal controls, identifying areas for improvement, and making recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and Preparation:

F Build annual audit plans, define scopes, objectives, and set timelines for operational and financial reviews.

F Conduct preliminary risk assessments and gather relevant background information.

F Coordinate with management and other stakeholders to schedule audit activities.

Manufacturing Process Review:

F Audit core areas like procurement,



plant operations, inventory management, production, and supply chain logistics.

F Identify operational bottlenecks, assess financial risks, and lead investigations into irregularities.

F Test internal controls using frameworks like COSO and verify adherence to company policies and local laws.

F Identify and document audit findings, including areas of non-compliance and potential risks.

Follow-up and Monitoring:

F Prepare comprehensive audit reports with findings, conclusions and present insights to senior leadership, and track corrective action

F Track the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.

F Conduct follow-up audits to ensure compliance with recommendations.

F Monitor ongoing risks and control environment changes.

Continuous Improvement:

F Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.

F Recommend improvements to the audit methodology and processes.

F Participate in professional development opportunities and training.

Preferred candidate profile

1. CA with Minimum 8+years of experience in Internal Audit within the manufacturing industry.

Hands on experience in auditing through Computerized Systems, knowledge of ERP. Proficient in word/ excel.

2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.

5. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
