Role Description The Internal Audit Manager will lead and execute internal audit engagements, including planning, risk assessment, testing of controls, and reporting of findings. This full time, on-site role based in Kolkata involves reviewing financial and operational processes, evaluating internal controls, and recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance. The person in this role will supervise audit teams, ensure adherence to professional standards, and coordinate with client stakeholders to clarify issues and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities also include preparing clear audit documentation, presenting audit reports to management,



and supporting follow-up reviews to monitor the implementation of recommendations.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify risks and control gaps.
- Solid knowledge of finance and accounting principles, including understanding of financial statements and key performance indicators.
- Hands-on experience in evaluating internal controls and designing or recommending control improvements.
- Experience with Payroll and HR related audits and processess
- Proven experience in conducting financial audits, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
- Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent, and prior experience in internal audit or assurance roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to management and clients.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in standard office tools and audit-related software; familiarity with data analytics tools is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within teams and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
