Role Description The Intern/Associate – Corporate Law Practice will support the firm’s technology-focused legal matters in a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating corporate and technology-related contracts, as well as supporting matters related to data privacy, AI governance, and intellectual property.

The role involves conducting legal research on statutes, case law, and regulatory developments, preparing case notes, and contributing to arbitration, mediation, and litigation work. The intern/associate will also help with compliance documentation, legal audits, and the preparation of training and certification materials. Collaboration with senior professionals, timely execution of assigned tasks, and maintaining organized legal records are key aspects of this position.





Qualifications

- Strong foundation in corporate law, contract law, and technology law, with the ability to apply legal principles to digital transformation, data privacy, and AI governance matters.
- Skills in legal research, drafting, and reviewing agreements, policies, and compliance documents, including NDAs, service agreements, and data protection clauses.
- Interest or experience in intellectual property rights, arbitration and mediation, and court litigation, with the ability to assist in case preparation and documentation.
- Ability to support legal audit and compliance activities, including risk assessment, regulatory tracking, and preparation of internal reports and checklists.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to present complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
- Capability to work in a structured, on-site workplace in Bengaluru, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively with legal and technology teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent/ Final year students can also apply); enrollment in or completion of a recognized law program is required, and specialization or coursework in corporate or technology law is an advantage.
- Proficiency with standard office and legal research tools; familiarity with technology platforms and emerging tech trends is beneficial.
- Proficiency in handling social media through posts, posters, newsletters and videos
- Proficiency in MS-Office suite and Gen-AI tools
