About the Role

We are hiring a passionate and creative Interior Design Faculty member to teach, mentor, and guide students in developing strong design thinking, technical skills, and industry-ready portfolios. The ideal candidate combines academic knowledge with real-world design practice and can inspire students toward innovative and functional design solutions.

Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver lectures and studio sessions on Interior Design topics (space planning, materials, furniture design, lighting, sustainability, CAD/3D visualization)

- Develop lesson plans, coursework, and assessment criteria

- Guide students on design studio projects, portfolios, and capstone projects

- Evaluate assignments and exams, and provide constructive feedback

- Stay current with design trends and software tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, COOHOM, Revit)

- Organize workshops, guest lectures, and site visits

- Mentor students for internships,



placements, and design competitions

- Maintain academic records and support department administrative work

Requirements

- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field (M.Des/M.Arch preferred

- Minimum 1 year of teaching or industry experience in Interior Design.

- Strong knowledge of design principles, materials, and construction techniques

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Photoshop, COOHOM or Revit

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Strong personal portfolio of design work

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
