Role Description

This is a full-time, in office Interior Designer role based in Bangalore.

The Interior

Designer will be responsible for developing interior concepts for commercial projects, translating client requirements into functional, aesthetic designs that align with Savills India’s standards. Daily activities include space planning, preparing and reviewing drawings, coordinating project managers, and contractors, and selecting FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) that meet budget, quality, and timeline expectations. The role involves site visits for measurements and inspections, maintaining design documentation, and supporting project execution to ensure design intent is achieved. The Designer will also participate in client presentations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated real estate solutions.

Qualifications





- Strong proficiency in Commercial Interior Design and Space Planning to create functional, visually appealing layouts
- Ability to use design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) and basic MS Office tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interpret client briefs and provide clear design solutions.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines in a collaborative environment.
- Prior experience in design of commercial interior projects
