Role Description This full-time, on-site Interior Designer role is based in Mumbai and focuses on creating functional, aesthetically compelling interior spaces.

The Interior

Designer will develop design concepts, plan layouts, and prepare detailed drawings and presentations for residential, commercial, or hospitality projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with architects and consultants, coordinating FF&E; selections, preparing construction drawings, and supporting site execution to ensure design intent is maintained. The role also involves meeting with clients to understand their needs, presenting design proposals, and assisting with budgeting and material specifications.

The Interior

Designer will contribute to design research,



maintain project documentation, and uphold the studio’s standards of innovation and craftsmanship.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate client requirements into functional, well-resolved layouts.
- Knowledge of Architecture principles and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to integrate interiors with overall building design.
- Proficiency in preparing Construction Drawings and technical documentation for execution and coordination with contractors.
- Experience with FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, detailing, and scheduling aligned with project concepts and budgets.
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and presentation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent).
- Robust visual communication skills, including mood boards, material palettes, and 3D visualization.
- Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and willingness to work collaboratively on-site in Mumbai.
- Previous studio or firm experience in interiors or architecture is preferred.
