About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and hands-on Design Manager to lead the design process for our Modulars & Interiors projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong design fundamentals, excellent client-handling skills, and the ability to independently manage projects from concept to execution. This is a role for someone who understands both the creative and technical aspects of interior design and can effectively coordinate with clients, designers, vendors, and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete design lifecycle from initial client interaction to project execution.
- Understand client requirements, lifestyle, preferences, budget, and functional needs.
- Develop concepts, mood boards, layouts, and design proposals.
- Prepare and review detailed technical drawings, working drawings, elevations, and construction drawings.
- Select and finalize appropriate materials, finishes, hardware, colours, and accessories.
- Conduct regular site visits and ensure design intent is accurately implemented.
- Coordinate closely with clients, designers, production teams, vendors, and site execution teams.
- Review designs and drawings for accuracy, functionality, aesthetics, and execution feasibility.
- Identify design and execution issues and provide practical solutions.
- Guide and mentor junior designers and ensure quality and consistency across projects.
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed quality, timeline, and design standards.




- Handle client presentations, design revisions, approvals, and project-related discussions.

What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of overall professional experience.
- 2–3 years of experience in an architecture/design firm is preferred.
- Mandatory experience in Modulars & Interiors.
- Robust experience in managing the end-to-end project cycle.
- Hands-on experience in:
- Client handling
- Concept development
- Mood boards
- Space planning
- Interior designing
- Technical/working drawings
- Material selection
- Site visits and coordination
- Design execution
- Architects are preferred, but not mandatory.
- Candidates whose experience is limited only to companies such as Livspace/Homelane or similar organizations, without relevant architecture/design-firm experience, will not be considered.
- Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and team-management skills.
- Ability to take ownership and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
