Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Integration Specialist Consultant with strong expertise in IBM webMethods, Universal Messaging, and API Management/API Gateway.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, administering, supporting, and maintaining integration solutions on the webMethods platform. The role involves working across integration technologies, supporting technology upgrades, troubleshooting production issues, and continuously improving platform reliability and automation.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, configure, administer, and support integrations using the webMethods platform.
- Configure and administer Universal Messaging and API Gateway/API Management components.
- Develop robust and scalable integration solutions based on business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver effective integration solutions.
- Ensure secure, reliable, and seamless data flow between different applications and systems.
- Perform production monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Handle operational activities such as server restarts, temporary workarounds, permanent fixes, and service recovery.




- Identify opportunities for preventive improvements and platform optimization.
- Develop utilities, frameworks, and automation to simplify recurring activities and workplace checks.
- Participate in technology upgrades, platform enhancements, and integration improvements.
- Work with multiple integration technologies and demonstrate willingness to learn new tools and platforms.
- Provide ongoing support for the webMethods integration environment.

Good to Have

- Experience with AWS, particularly:

- EC2

- Virtual Private Cloud (VPC)

- Gateways
- Experience with any Managed File Transfer (MFT) technology.
- Exposure to ETL tools.
- Experience working with additional integration technologies.
- Experience in platform upgrades and environment migrations.
- Knowledge of integration monitoring and automation.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should have:

- 610 years of relevant IT experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM webMethods.
- Strong knowledge of Universal Messaging and API Gateway/API Management.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Experience in integration development as well as administration/support.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and work across multiple integration technologies.
