Role Description The Instrument Technician role is a full-time, in office position based in Bharuch.

The Instrument

Technician will install, inspect, maintain, and repair industrial instruments and control systems used in manufacturing and processing facilities. Daily responsibilities include performing routine checks on field instruments, ensuring accurate calibration of sensors and transmitters, supporting process control operations, and documenting maintenance activities. The role involves diagnosing faults, coordinating with engineering and operations teams to resolve issues, and implementing preventive maintenance plans to reduce downtime.

Technician will also follow safety procedures and compliance standards while working with electrical, electronic, and pneumatic instruments.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Instrumentation and Calibration to ensure accurate measurement and reliable performance of industrial instruments.
- Candidates should possess solid capabilities in Process Control and Troubleshooting to support stable plant operations and quickly resolve system issues.
- Candidates should possess experience in Preventive Maintenance to develop and execute maintenance schedules that minimize equipment failures and downtime.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or a related engineering field.
- Hands-on experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably in process plants or similar facilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, P&IDs;, instrument manuals, and wiring diagrams.
- Strong attention to safety, adherence to standard operating procedures, and familiarity with industry regulations.
- Effective communication skills, ability to work within cross-functional teams, and readiness to work in shifts if required.
